With 2 little ones in tow and a Magic Key to my name, I’ve gone 1-2 times every month since August!
Here’s some tangible and intangible tips!
Use the Disneyland App but the times can be off! So trust your gut if the line looks/seems longer or shorter than posted.
It’s all about timing! (Isn’t that everything in life!) For me, I notice in the mornings if a popular ride has a decent wait time I go there for. But in the afternoon if a ride has a long line I try a nearby ride and hope the line thins by the time I’m off the other ride. Example: going on tea cups and seeing if Dumbo is shorter. Or anything around Toy Story Mania. I love that ride but I swear the line is always so long! *BTW, I only go on kids rides since it usually me and 2 toddlers.
Jammies for the end of the day is a must for us. I get the kids ready for bed, sometimes do one more ride, and they usually fall asleep on the walk back. (I don’t do the tram. It’s too much of a hassle folding and unfolding our double stroller. But I’ve mapped out the tram route, which people used to be able to walk with the normal walking path from Pixar and Pals parking lot and honestly it’s about the same.
Accessible wipes! (This could be a band name haha). I saw this tip from someone on YouTube and it make life so much easier. We have a small plastic reusable wipes holder hanging from the stroller.
Pack a ‘line bag.’ My stroller always has everything I could ever want or need… too bad I found that I needed those things - snacks, water, bandaids, Tylenol, and more - when my stroller was 100+ feet away and there’s 50 people on both sides of me! My ‘line bag” as I call it has an extra water bottle, snacks, medicines, hand sanitizer, diapers, wipes, back up pacifiers, money, and car keys. On hot days it usually a Fanny pack (really fashionable, I know) on cooler days, I go with a small backpack.
More tips to come! These were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head!
